The fruit is bright red takamakie, while the husk of the fruit is done in gradating red and gold takamakie...

The artist's red seal is at the lower right with the pencil-signature below. Paper: 15 3/8" x 10 1/4" (image: 14 1/2" x 9 1/2"). Very good overall condition with slight waviness to the paper.

A pair of Japanese Imari porcelain dishes. A later example with Namban (or Nanban - Southern barbarian) subject "Black Ship" dishes.
