First edition pencil-signed Japanese shin hanga woodblock print by Takeji Asano (1900-2002) titled "Rain in Shinnyodo" in the lower margin and dated Showa 28 (1953) in the lower left margin. The artist's black ink signature is at the lower left corner of the image and the artist's name/signature is in pencil at the lower right. The left margin also bears the seal of the publisher Unsodo, the carver Okura, and the printer Shinmi. The "gei" watermark is at the lower left margin corner...

First edition Japanese shin hanga woodblock print by Shiro Kasamatsu (1898-1991) titled "Tea Ceremony" (Chanoyu) dated " Showa 29" (1954). The seal of the publisher Unsodo, and the seals of the carver Nagashima, and printer Shinmi are in the left margin. The artist's black ink signature and red seal are at the upper right corner of the image. The Unsodo (“Un”) watermark is faintly visible at the lower left margin corner. The paper measures 15 7/8” x 10 3/4” (image: 14 5/16" x 9 1/2")...

Lovely two tiny small pottery 'maneki-neko' (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maneki-neko) with such nice faces, Showa period, 1950s, Japan, Large: H 6cm (2.36in), Small: H 5.5cm (2.16in)...

Japanese Bamboo Mat or Hanger for Ikebana flower arrangement, or display Dolls or small objects, 30" long, 5" wide, 1/2" wide for each bamboo pieces, all natural material, condition is good.

Five unique plates by Tomimoto Kenkichi, from various eras depicting bucolic scenery each uniquely signed on the back. Kenkichi changed his signature regularly, which makes it very easy to date his works. These date from the 1950s. Each is between 18.5 and 19.5 cm diameter (roughly 7-1/2 inches). One has a slight firing flaw near at the rim, otherwise they are all in excellent condition. A smaller 6th plate will be included, bonus...

Old (1960's) Japanese Kutani Sleeping Cat Neko Gray & White Marked

It is 2.5 inches (5.7 cm) tall by 6.25 inches (15.7 cm) wide. It is 1.1lb.

It has skip glaze at the ear, and surface wears (as seen in the photos).

A vintage 3 section Isho Biraki (Kimono chest with hinged doors) Tansu made of Kirinoki (Paulownia) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria) woods. The top section has two sliding doors behind which is a shelf to the left side supported by a natural Cherry Bark limb. The center section has 2 hinged doors which when opened reveals 3 removable Kimono trays good for storing linens, blankets, sweaters or other garments. The bottom section has 2 large drawers for additional spacious storage...
