$380.00 This is a very nice Edo period cotton indigo dyed cotton kimono for children. This is yokote Kasuri.Patterns such as bangasa (umbrella), turtles,willow.
There are some stains and some repair marks on the shoulder ridge. However, it is an unused / stored item. The color and scent of indigo dye remains firmly.

This is dyed with an artistic portrait of a lion and Katazome of the peony pattern and a brown plain fabric. There is small holes and damage ,thin stains. However, the condition is good generally. This illustrates the story of a hunter who to defend his lord during a hunting party jumped on a boar, rode it, sat upside down and stabbed it to death. This brave hunter was called Nitan No Shiro and the action took place around Mount Fuji. The tsuba is in hammered iron, the drawings of the hunter and the boar are incised with a chisel, the hat of Nitan is inlaid in sentoku (copper) some details are in gilded bronze or gold...
