A powerful image of Padmasambhava also known as Guru Rimpoche, the reputed founder of Tibetan Buddhism. Carved mostly of a single piece of precious dark purple sandalwood (zitan). Remains of colours and gold. Tibet, 17–18th cent. H 15 cm. Condition: Very good but of course with wear due to age. The trident (khatvanga) is missing.

Antique Indian carving of Vishnu and Lakshmi. Vishnu is identified by his tall crown and club. His wife, Lakshmi is seated on his left knee. Carved of a hard black/green stone. Kazak hand knotted rug made of wool from the middle east. Beautiful central medallion with blue, red and green design on a pale yellow/cream colored ground. The border has unusual medallion shaped design in red with blue, blue with yellow, and light pink with green. It measures 8' by 10'8".

Antique Kilim runner of Turkish nomadic tribe origin. A series of 9 large bands, each with three large diamond shaped reserves inside which are crosses surrounded by protective hooked borders. Smaller protective diamond shapes and crosses fill in the space around each large motif. Bands of white with small crosses and diamond provide more protection. Hand woven of wool. Circa 1900. Size: 101" long x 31 1/2" wide.

Elaborate mask of Citipati, made of embossed, gilt and painted, bronze. Partly encrusted reddish-green patina. Tibet, 18th century. The mask is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Height (without stand): 26 cm. Very good condition. A very rare piece.

Ancient Indian Jain religious shrine, the central Jina surrounded by multiple celestial nymphs with two elephants at the top on either side of the canopy. This brass with inlaid silver sculpture has ancient Devanagari script over the entire back. The Jinas eyes and central chest are silver inlaid. Rubbed and some losses.
