Antique copper letter opener with a Jadeite handle, with traces of gold gilt and overlaid silver hilt. The hilt is a small silver bat, a symbol of good luck. Carved on one side of the knife is a Chinese dragon and sun, on the other side is a phoenix or fenghuang with a long vine of berries and a flower. A large Chinese bonbon dish made by Wang Hing. Made of mother of pearl shell with silver bamboo legs in tripod form, it is surprising sturdy. Marked Wang Hing on one of the bottom legs, it is in excellent condition and measures 5 inches high. Across, the shell measures 8.75' at its longest point and 7" at its shortest distance.

Chinese clear quartz crystal container, hand-carved in the form of a blossoming lotus. The container has a tall bud finial lid carved with lotus pods. The crystal is carved smooth with natural inclusions.

This glass inside painting snuff bottle is 3 1/4" high, 2" wide and 7/8” thick. The bottle has an orange banded agate cap. The snuff bottle is dated 1997. The artist’s name is Yu Shi. Yu Shi's original name is Zhang Yu-Xiao. He was born in 1979 in Hebei province. He enjoys painting Buddha, Guan-Yin, Bodhidharma and other Buddhist figures. One side of the snuff bottle depicts two Japanese Geisha chatting under a willow tree; the other side is a Geisha sitting on a bench combing her hair...
