A Chinese snuff bottle made in repoussed silver with some guilloche decoration and colorful enamel, gilt rims. Showing two young ladies, one is playing the flute. The stopper is en suite, bone spoon. Condition: traces of usage, wear to gilding, little verdigris. Dimension: height: c. 6.3 cm.

Chinese Qing dynasty Kangxi marked monochrome beehive form water coupe (taibo zun) covered overall in a copper red glaze. The slightly recessed flat base and interior are white. The base holds an apocryphal underglaze blue six-character Kangxi reign mark written in three columns. Spherical boxes in bronze (or copper) cloisonné in relief. The wires isolate the relief lotus flower decoration, leaving free spaces of enamel between the motifs which is an unusual, more complex technique. The fact of not completely filling the partitions with enamel weakens those which are at the edge of the decor.
