Rare and slender Silver/Paktong Opium Pipe, QING Dynasty. The damper/bowl is in the shape of a poppy/opium bulb and is held by a hand. This hand holding the bulb/damper has a very distinct double fish engraved on it's base which in Feng Shui is the symbol of wealth, abundance and attracting good luck (see photograph #4). A small 17th / 18th Century bronze flower vase, with a sinuous dragon curled around its neck, probably made for the scholar's table in China during the reign of the Kangxi Emperor (1662-1722).

Condition: very good - there are very minor surface bumps otherwise no damages or losses and no repairs or restoration.

A small mid 19th Century silver War Junk complete with two crew and five cannon. This item was probably made circa 1850. Condition - the carved wooden base is substantially damaged on one side and there are minor losses to the junk (please wiew enlargements)...

DESCRIPTION: An attractive oval brass box, the hinged lid decorated with a carved carnelian stone at the center with raised brass leaves on either side. Signed at the interior lid, such a box might have been used for snuff, jewelry, cosmetics or medicines. This attractive little box is in excellent condition and dates from the first quarter of the 20th C. DIMENSIONS: 2 ¼” long (5.7 cm) x 1 1/8” wide (2.9 cm) x 1” high (2.5 cm).

A well rendered blue and white Chinese porcelain dish with 4 figures. In very good condition, surface showing no wear, there are few minor frits around the edge and a chip on the inside bottom foot rim, nothing of any consequence. Dating Republic period, it measures 5.5" (14 cm) diameter and 1.5" (3.8 cm) deep.
