A rare finely carved cylindrical bamboo incense box depicting Scholars amongst rocks and pine trees in a mountain landscape. This item was made in China in the late Qing period - the characters carved into the top read "Qing Guangxu Nian Zhi" which translates as "Made in the Guangxu reign Qing dynasty" (1875-1908). This is a fine old Antique Chinese charger. It is done in a pattern rarely seen. Look close at the images and you will see the old orange peel surface texture. The charger has no cracks or chips. It does have a little wear to the gold but most of the enamels are fine. Overall it is in very good condition and in much better condition than most this age.. The Charger is heavily potted and weighs several lbs. Measures 13 inches across.
