This is a large ceramic pillow in the form of a cat, done in cream and brown colors, in old Cizhou Kiln style. The ceramic cat pillow measures about 13" long x 7" tall, and dates to the turn of the 20th Century. There is a Chinese "Cultural Properties" wax stamp on the cat's back. Chinese wood carved plaque, created by two grandsons in memoriam of their deceased grandmother for what would have been her 70th birthday. The four large characters are "Peng Hu Chang Chun", which translates to "The flagons of the immortal beings in Penglai never get old". Legend tells that the coastal area of Penglai in the Shandong province of China is inhabited by immortal beings of kindness...

Large Chinese yellow Peking glass vase. Dramatic baluster form with tall neck and rounded foot. The rim displays how many layers of glass it took to create this vase. The color is a vivid golden/yellow color previously reserved for imperial use.

Chinese large yixing zisha teapot with silver decorations. 23 cm wide from spout to handle. 16 cm body diameter. 10 cm high. Teapot has few small chipped at inside the lid, no crack.

Chinese early Qing dynasty imperial brown ground double dragon brocade. One dragon is holding a firing pearl and watching to another dragon behind him while the other one is chasing a firing pearl. This brocade is well design and fully decorated, dragons are surrounded by colorful clouds and sea waves...

A Ming Blue and White porcelain Kaiseki dish made for the Japanese Market, Late Ming, Transitional Period, Chongzhen 1628-1644. Decorated with the Three Friends of Winter, Pine, Bamboo and Prunus. The gnarled pine tree in the center is twisted to form a Chinese `Shou` character meaning Luck and Blessings. The border is of informal scrolling plants including Lingzhi fungus.
