Bamboo pot carved with several characters from Chinese mythology evolving in a raised garden. One can easily recognize Shoulao, god of longevity, accompanied by his deer and holding the peach of immortality in his right hand and his stick in the left. The deer holds in its mouth a Lingzhi mushroom of immortality. The work is important, the sculptures do not have the perfect but cutesy aesthetic of the 18th century and would suggest that this pot is a late popular clumsy creation...

Carving made from the root section of a bamboo stalk, with the tell-tale circular markings on the back of the head and back of the garment. A general, possibly Guanyu, sitting on a elevation or dais with a closed folding fan in the hand. China, Qing dynasty, 19th century.

Beautiful antique Chinese bamboo root vessel in pottery medicine pot. Delightful in size and with pleasing texture all over. Age: 18th Century. Size: 2.5" height x 3.5" length.

Chinese Bamboo wrapped metal Handle for tea pot, 3" high, 4" to 4 1/2" bottom size, can be adjust the width about 1/2" wider, the condition is new, never used before. Picture show two(2) but I have more than two(2) in the stock.

Small Chinese Export cup and saucer, first part of the 18th century, Yongzheng or early Qianlong. “Batavia” brown glaze with reserves of flowers in Imari colours and gilt. Diameter of saucer "4/ 10.5 cm, height of cup "1 ½/ 3.5 cm. Condition: wear to the gilt, one hairline each to cup and saucer (cf. pics).

Chinese cabinet from the Shandong province made from jumu wood (elm). The two front swinging doors open with brass pulls on long, brass panels. The shelved interior is very roomy. Chinese antique sewing table, black lacquer with beautiful and ornate gold lacquer designs depicting scenes of palace life, interior has many little places for organizing sewing materials all lacquered in black and gold with bone details, a pull out lacquer and silk area underneath for storing embroidery supplies, claw feet, with key, 18th/19th century. A unusually elaborate pair of pottery figures of female Attendants, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD.), dating to late Ming period c. 1550-1650 AD.



The ladies are dressed large thick robes, with imposing hairdresses. One is wearing af fan, the other is wearing purse in front of her chest. Both are standing on round plints. They are glazed in torqouise and dark blue colours.

Nicely painted facial details, careful thick glazing and a fine expression.

2 belt buckles (or fibulae) in cast bronze and hot-gilded with mercury. Decorated in relief with bats and clouds on an engraved amati background. In the center are set white jade plates cut in the shape of stylized bats. Two half-pearls are set on the hooks, as they are very worn it is difficult to identify the material, probably reddish translucent stone but perhaps glass paste? Chinese work from the beginning of the Qing period, end of the 17th or beginning of the 18th century...
