Sold Description:
A water dropper was in intriguing twin toad's shape. In characteristic mustard tint, the vessel was merged by two halves made from clay molds. Finger prints were left on the clay body by the potter when in the squeezing and applying method of the pieces. There were obvious incursions happened to the thinner portion of the glaze. The toads were in uniquely fiercing look which was a iconological characteristic of the dated periods... Diameter approximately 16.5 cm. There are some hairlines.
Height approximately 17.5 cm. There is a soft chip at the handle. In good condition. More pictures are available.

In the basin, there're squeezed and mold lotus plants were well rendered and adhered to the cavetto. Found in the Philippines.
Jar carved with vertical petal-like ribs and is topped with a round cover that has undulating edges and a ribbed petal-like dome. It is covered overall in a green celadon glaze, except for the base.
Measurements: height (3.5”inches or 9cm), width (3.9”inches or 10cm).
Condition: in perfect condition. No restorations. UV light checked...

Featuring a recumbent model of a dog with its upright head slightly leaning to one side. Its left leg is crossed over the right with its hind legs tucked and the tail resting above its lower body. It is covered overall in a translucent green-white ‘Qingbai’ glaze, adorned with iron-spots.

A translucent glaze over a white porcelain body, the flat base unglazed. Yuan to Ming Dynasty, fourteenth to fifteenth centuries. Dehua ware Fujian. H : 4,3 cm. Diameter : 5,4 cm. A Zitan brush-licker was in vibrant form. By traditional designs on the patterns of the sea waves, this wood scholar dish was surrounded on the rim with scrolling water. Purplish oxidation was happened to the surface when grayish deposition was found within the crevices. Date: Qing Dynasty, 19th Century. Length: 11.3cm. Width: 8.5cm. Height: 3.5cm. Rare, very rugged leather tobacco box from the Bai ethnic group in Yunnan, China. This was purchased in rural Yunnan at a Bai market, near Dali over 20 years ago. One can assume this craft is no longer being done with the availability of cheap plastic items as well as the migration of artisans to better paying jobs in the city.
