Unusually large Sung Dynasty powder box / container with muted molded design on lid. Nice uniform glaze. Note, there is an apparent hairline on the outer portion of lid which appears only to some extent on the inside of lid. Also, there are a few small chips to the rim of the base section of the powder box. Dimensions: 5 inch diameter, 2 inches in height.

Sold, thank you! A small Song Dynasty celadon bowl in good condition. Carved lotus leaf pattern to outside. Apart for some wear as may be expected, there are only some very minor chips to base rim. Lovely color and good symmetry. Small noticeable mark on rim that likely occurred during firing. Diameter: 5 inches
Large Song Celadon bowl, olive green in color. In very good condition without chips or cracks. There is an incised flower pattern in the bottom of the bowl. Otherwise, small fritting /granulation is evident in the bottom of the bowl and a couple of these may have been compromised/worn down. Nice overall symmetrical shape and crackle in the glaze is quite faint. Diameter: 7 plus inches and 3 inches in height.
Song Dynasty Jarlet with a light brown glaze that covers upper portion of jarlet. A wear mark to lip of jar and to some small to glaze. Small chip oat base. Otherwise in good condition. Nicely proportioned and with good symmetry, Dimensions:3 inches wide and 2 and half inches tall.
Song brown glaze jarlet...overall in good condition without chips or damage. This jarlet appears to have slumped slightly some time prior to firing. Diameter: 2 and half inches, height 2 and quarter inches.

Sold This is one of the first tea bowls in Japan, which came together with the first tea from China. It is a Chinese Jian Tenmoku Tea Bowl of the oil-spot type. These bowls were produced in large quantities for the general public as well as for the imperial court between the 10th and and the 13th century in the Fujian province. This type with the flaring mouth is relatively rare and is shaped in James M. Plummers: Temmoku (Tokyo, 1972), p.63... Song Dynasty Green Glaze jarlet with two ears...in very good condition without cracks or chips, some wear in terms of scratches...small points of imperfection in glaze at time of firing. Floral pattern around top portion of jarlet and scrolling pattern around lower portion at the base. Diameter: 2 and half inches, height 2 inches.

Sold, thank you! A fine Song celedon jarlet olive green in color. Symmetrical with a nice shape and fine sheen to the glaze. Small chip to one side. Dimensions: diameter of 2.25 inches, height 1.50 inches.
Song dynasty ribbed jar with light green crackled glaze. Some small chips to the glaze around the rim. Diameter: 3.25 inches, height: 2.75 inches.
Northern Song Dynasty Celadon bowl (Chinese or possibly Korean) with incised flower design. Nice green glaze and symmetrical shape. There are no chips or cracks. Note a couple of flaws within glaze. Diameter: 7.5 inches; height: 3 inches.
Fine white Song Dynasty powder box with scroll pattern on lid and on base section. In very good condition. The top and bottom fit nicely together all round and are symmetrical in shape. As man be expected, there are some minor chips to the sharp edge of the lid and some to the inside rim of the bottom section. Additional images on request. Diameter: 4.50 inches; Height 1.75 inches
