SOLD ! Thanks to U.K.! Excellently potted porcelain jarlet with underglaze Cobalt blue "Lotus" decoration.The base unglazed. Ming Dynasy, Jiajing Period ( 1522 - 1566 ). Jingdezhen ware. Diameter: 7,5 cm. H.: 7,8 cm.
Condition: Perfect original condition, very nice glaze, no chip, no crack, some original glaze fritting to the rim which is absolutely is normal for such kind of ware.

Chinese Ming dynasty porcelain dish decorated in underglaze blue on a white ground with a hou in a central roundel surrounded by a band of peony flowers and scrolling foliage. One of the nine sons of the dragon, the hou has the appearance of a lion and is depicted roaring at the sky. A similar peony band with scrolling foliage encircles the rim on the reverse side. Circa 16th century. 9 3/4” diameter x 2” high. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs...

€1,700.00 Statue of Buddhist god Wenshu --- also known as Bodhisattava Manjusri --- in formal attire, wearing diadem and jewelry, his hands holding the stem of lotus flowers resting on each shoulder, sitting in "bhadrasana" on his lion, the lion itself crouching on a stylised lotus base. Bronze, with encrusted dark green patina. China, late Yuan/early Ming dynasty. Height: 18.8 cm. Very good condition.

Chinese late Ming dynasty Wanli period Zhangzhou (Swatow) porcelain deep dish decorated in underglaze blue on a white ground with a roundel at the center holding a phoenix bird standing on a rock under trees in a landscape. A thick border of six floral panels reserved on a fish scale background surrounds the rim. Typical sand grit to the base. 16th/17th century. 11 3/8” diameter x 2 1/4” high. Very good overall condition. There are some encrustations adhering...
H. 14,5 cm. One side decorated with a landscape with figures, the other side with flowers. Condition: firing crack in the neck, age cracks in the glaze. Comes with the original Christie's sticker, the original certificate and the invoice from 1992.
The Vung Tau sank in 1690 on its way from China to Batavia, Indonesia. The cargo was meant for Amsterdam. The wreck was found in the early 90's and it's content was auctioned at Christie's Amsterdam in 1992...

Chinese late Ming dynasty Zhangzhou (Swatow) porcelain round form covered seal paste box decorated in green and iron-red overglaze enamels against a cream-colored ground with a deer in a central roundel on the lid surrounded by six alternating geometric panels set between a crossed line background. The interior and base are glazed but undecorated. 16th/17th century. 3 3/4” diameter x 2” high. Very good overall condition...

The figure is placed on a large Lotus throne on top of high hexagonal plint, both in fine Sancai colours - a two-colour green and yellow glazed robe. He wears a high hat. Finely painted facial details. Lotus thrones are very rare for Ming pottery figures...

The figure is placed on a large Lotus throne on top of high hexagonal plint, both in fine Sancai colours - a two-colour green and yellow glazed robe. He wears a head dress. Finely hand painted facial details. Lotus thrones are very rare for Ming pottery figures... Red pottery with a turquoise glaze, with moulded decoration of peonies. Apart from some chips to the mouth rim this censer is in a very good condition. H. 15 cm, diameter 12 cm. Width from handle to handle 18 cm. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
Red pottery moulded figure, glazed in turquoise, amber and black. On the back of his stool there is a coin symbol ( god of wealth?). H. 20 cm. Overall in very good condition with wear and flaking to the glaze and a chip at the back of his right arm. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
