A very finely carved hardwood ox or buffalo, surmounted by a young boy, on original stand, probably made for export during the second half of the 19th Century circa 1850-1900 . Condition - excellent - one glass eye of the boy is missing but, unusually, there is no damage at all to the sculpture and there has been no restoration. The Ox - 30cm (11.8 inches) long; 15.5cm (6 inches)high...

Beautifully finished antique chinese two section medicine chest from the 19th century, circa 1900. There are 24 small drawers. The drawers each have two sections and are numbered on the back. There are two large drawers that are divided into three sections. They are fitted with round brass drawers pulls. The front is faced with jumu wood. It measures 37" wide 66" tall 18.75" deep.

Altar table from the 19th century mad of ju-mu (elm) wood. Beautifully carved registers adorn the altar. They are carved with bats, deer, fish, and flowers. The drawers have round handles. The cabinet opens into a space with a shelf. It measures 72" wide, 35 tall, 20" deep.

Beautifully carved homu altar table inlaid with jade. The table has leaves carved into it. The inlaid jade is shaped like peaches. Circa 1900. It measures 34" tall 18" deep 59" long.

Qing Dynasty Porcelain Flower Bowl painted inside and outside and shows "wet" contrasty high gloss glaze. Marking on base. High resonance when tapped. Size: 4.5" (11 cm.) top diameter x H. 2" (5 cm.) Condition: one visible tiny chip on outside rim and foot shows some chips as well.

Unusual Ching Dynasty (possibly older) Porcelain Bowl with polychrome flower motif and an iron red inner motif in the well. High resonance when tapped. Condition: good overall, one small rim chip and 2 small hairlines. Size: 11.5 cm. top diameter x H. 4.5 cm.

A great large "sang de boeuf" (Oxblood) bottle vase. The glaze is somewhat crackled with a pattern of fine crackles. Green spots in the glaze can be seen from the coppar. This vase is an very rare and good example of the oxblood glaze. An real opportunity. An antique stand will follow in the purchase. Condition: very good condition. Small wearings. Nicely painted Cobalt QING Blue & White Porcelain Stem Plate, 19th Century. Difficult to find. Condition: overall good, but has nicks to the outside rim and one chip which can be restored. Size: 12 cm. top diameter x 7 cm. bottom diameter X H. 5 cm.

Beautifully embroidered robe with the twelve zodiac signs and 8 dragons. An abundance of gold thread was used to embroider the robe. The animals of the zodiac are on a gold ground encircled by a leafed border. The dragons have four claws and are within a circle on blue clouds. The robe is adorned with men, women and children dispersed with an interwoven symbol and swastikas. It measures 62" wide by 42" long.

A small mid 19th Century silver War Junk complete with two crew and five cannon. This item was probably made circa 1850. Condition - the carved wooden base is substantially damaged on one side and there are minor losses to the junk (please wiew enlargements)...

An archaic style vase with crackle-glaze and simulated metal mounts. On the base is the apocryphal mark of the 15th Century Chenghua emperor but this item was made much later, probably for export, during the reign of the Tongzhi emperor (1862-1874). Condition - there are two white filled rim chips - no further damage or restoration...

A very rare Chinese triangular planter with original wooden stand that accents this rarely seen slab construction type porcelain. Adorned with precious objects, its obvious that this planter wasn't meant for the Western market, but was rather designed for domestic use for the Chinese.
