A Qing Ge Qianlong era Ge Style glaze bowl

Here is another spectacular Bronze Guanyin from our collection. After we have already sold each of our bigger statues, we like to offer you now our biggest dating to the 18th cent. Qing period - A 67 cm (26,5'') high antique Bronze Statue of a beautiful Guanyin.

The guan yin is wearing a long robe, the surface shows a great patina and on the back you find the mark 'Da Qing Kang Xi Nian Zhi'.

Chinese Qing dynasty Qianlong period geyao type shallow bowl covered overall with a fine crackle glaze on a creamy white ground. The high foot rim is glazed on the exterior. The recessed base is glazed and the glaze extends part way up the inner side of the inward slanting foot where it ends with an orange burn line. There are seven brown glazed spots on the base that simulate Song kiln supports. 10 3/8” diameter x 2 1/4” high. 18th century...

A porcelain bowl painted with over glaze "famille rose" enamels depicting a flowering peony shrub issuing from a stylized blue rock. This item was made in China for export to Europe during the second quarter of the 18th Century. Condition: very good - there is a 1.7cm chip to the inside of the footrim; no other damages and no restoration. 14cm (5.5 inches) diameter; 6.5cm (2.6 inches) high.

DESCRIPTION: A very old Chinese wooden incense holder, crafted in the form of a partially unrolled scroll that bends and folds to form the container. On the edges of the “scroll” is a relief carved key pattern border with traces of gilt; the worn lacquer surface still shows the original designs of a bird, flower, bamboo and Chinese characters. DESCRIPTION: A significant Chinese sculpture featuring a Scholar with his boy attendant, carved from a large slab of burl hardwood. The undulations and knobs of the slightly curving burl slab have been beautifully incorporated into the carving, forming the scholar’s garment and top of his curled hat. The bearded scholar looks slightly upward with a pleasing expression and holds a scroll in his hands. At his side is his young attendant gazing upward with a charming smile...

Decorated with two panels with landscapes, surrounded by flowers. This kendi was exported to Indonesia where the silver mounts were added, most probably in the 19th century. A set of three blue and white saucer plates, the back brown glazed, so called Batavia ware. Decoration of bamboo, peony and a rock. Yongzheng to early Qianlong, first part of the 18th century. Diameter "5½/ 13,5 cm. Condition: small repair to the border of one plate, all with hairlines.

A fine and very rare pair of monochrome rouleau shaped porcelain vases with apple green lustrous glaze; the base and interior are glazed white. There are old collector's labels to the base. These items were made in China, in the late 17th or early 18th Century, during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722). Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration. 13cm (5inches)high.
