Made of silk, embroidered with very fine Peking and satin stitch in gold-wrapped and colorful threads. The tall ankle cuffs decorated with brocaded ribbons. Cotton lining and leather soles. A fine Chinese late 19th century ivory card case featuring an intricately carved garden setting with figures and pavilions on a pierced background.
