An antique Chinese dehua (also known as blanc de chine) of a man riding a donkey-like animal. Unlike the normal subject matter often produced in dehua porcelain, the figure is not dressed in a Chinese manner, but in a European style. The back contains two seals: the gourd shaped seal reads: dehua and the square seal is possibly the artist name, which translates as: seal of Ke Qianzhong. Age: Late 19th -20th century. Antique Chinese purple hued agate censor. The base and lid are carved with a scrolling foliate design on two oblong registers. The base has bird-like head handles with loose rings. The censor has scrolling foliate handles with loose rings. The top has simple vine like handles with loose rings. The lid is topped with a dragon. The agate has natural white and yellow/brown inclusions. It measures 15.5" tall, the base measures 8" tall, the top 7.75" tall.

Chinese blue and white porcelain Incense Burner or censer, made in later part of 1800's to early 1900's' 3 3/8" high, 7 1/4" diameter, various style of bands in underglaze blue, unglazed area inside half way down to the bottom. Black ink writings on the bottom under the thick white glaze round dot, about 3/4" wide. No damage or restoration.

Chinese jade pair of horses with a monkey riding one the back of one of the horses. The imagery used on this Chinese carving can be derived from the noted legend of Journey to the West, where the monkey king is assigned by the Jade Emperor to oversee the heavenly stables, but does mischief in the end. Horses in East Asia represent swiftness and the monkey representing representing foolishness yet with the ability to learn its lesson. Age: 20th century. Size: height 4.25" width 5.5" length 6.5"

Finely carved foo dog playing with a small ball done in Jade. The fur of the foo dog is carved in stylized scrolled motif with detail work showing each fur. Foo dogs are an auspicious motif in East Asia and often paintings and sculptures are produced. Age: 20th century. Size: height 1.3" width 1.75" length 2.5"

Chinese blue monochrome porcelain meiping vase, the interior rim and body coated with a dark blue hue, the recessed base with an underglaze blue apocryphal Qianlong mark, from late 19th/early 20th century period. Size; Height of vase is 7.75 inches, in very good condition.

A small Peking glass vase done on a white base with polychrome color enamel decorated on the surface. The vase is invoking fencai porcelains and the motifs and patterns used on the vase are often seen in porcelains. The vase contains two views of literati scholar like figures, one contemplating and another reading a book. Age: Qian Long mark but most likely 19th century. Size: Diameter 3.75" Height 7.5"

Beautifully carved soap stone figure of sage Fulushuo, he leans on an elaborately carved staff and hold the peach of longevity, on an intricately carved dark stone stand on which are carved a bat and a deer, also symbols of happiness and longevity, wonderful expression, stone of a lovely orange and green, Republic Period (circa 1910-1930). Total size: 20 3/4" high x 8" wide x 5 1/2" deep.

Antique Chinese wood brush washer in a hexagonal shape. Each face is beautifully inlaid with a floral arrangement: a pine branch, a flowering apricot or peach branch, a magnolia branch, a pair of narcissus flowers, a vase with lotus and a second vase with magnolia. It measures 7" tall, 6" wide at base. 20th century.

Depicting a boy on a Qilin, symbol of fertility. Dimensions: the pendant 7 x 8 cm, the chain 54 cm. Weight 60 gr. Ca. 2nd half 19th century.

Superbly and detailed antique agate carving in the form of a gourd with leaves, smaller gourds, and a bat. In East Asia the gourd is considered an auspicious plant and in China the bat is synonymous to the word fortune in Chinese. Hence, the motif is often seen in various works of art. A Chinese Jade carving of a lady carrying a baby. The jade carving contains fine details of the hair, robes, and tassels the lady is wearing. Size: length 2.25" width 1" height 7"

A sculpted Chinese hardwood box with auspicious motifs decorated on the lid of the box. The lid contains motifs of butterflies and a central medallion with peonies and a stylized form of the Chinese character for longevity. Age: 20th century. Size: height 3" width 6.75" length 10.75"

Chinese jade carving in the form of a tripod censer. The lid and handles contain superb intricate carvings of scrolled leaf like patterns with flower buds set in between the scrolled leaves.
