The finely and realistically modelled sculptures depict a Chinese man and a Chinese woman in national costumes. The man is wearing a long green robe with gold swirl motifs, grey Balloon Pants and red shoes on his feet, the hair is braided and drawn back under a black hat. His left hand is grasping a Chinese musical stringed instrument (Erhu)...

Pair of matched naturally stressed wooden plaques with “couplet”, encouraging harmony and peace. Traditionally Chinese write to right to left so the meaning of the board on the right encourages one to “admit your mistakes to avoid trouble in the world” while the one on the left, encourages one to “be tolerant, to live in peace”. It has been suggested to me that these may be have been hung in an old Kung Fu studio as this would express the spirit of martial arts...

Antique Chinese, Yuan Dynasty (1279–1368 A.D.), Crackle – Glaze, Ge Type Ceramic Jar of a bulbous form with a raised short moulded mouth, the - exterior of the jar is covered with mat finish, pale celadon -greyish crackle glaze leaving the shoulders, mouth and the foot rim unglazed. The interior of the jar covered with glossy crackle glaze.

Rare original Shanghai poster,professionally framed,from the 1930's of Jiang Qing as a young actress. There are many reproductions of this poster, but this is an original that I acquired in China many years ago. Jiang Qing was noted for being Mao Tse Tung's fourth wife and a member of the "Gang of Four." Size: Frame. 85.8 x 69 cm. Poster. 62 x 46 cm. Condition: Normal ageing cracks and some minor repairs.

An authentic large and beautiful original green glazed Han vase (hu) with monkeys, lions, wild boars, rabbits, riders on horse back and some strange human and animal type creatures. Age: Han Dynasty 206BC - 220AD Size: H. 32.5cm W. 28cm. Condition. Very good. No repairs.

Chinese white jade vase carving of Liu Haichan or "Master Sea-Toad", a 10th century Daoist xian immortal, with a string of square-holed coins and his mythical three-legged money toad. Lotus pods, peonies, birds, and waves are carved all around the body of the jade vase. The base is carved wood into reticulated root pattern.

The pair of snuff bottles have a hexagonal faceted shape with flattened foot. They are inlaid with iridescent shell floral motifs with dark brown lacquer wood.

Laque burgauté has Chinese origins with examples occurring as early as the Ming dynasty and was especially popular in the Qing dynasty when it was also used to cover unglazed porcelain.

Chinese framed rank badge, decorated with a phoenix, applied all over with gilt wrapped thread in scrolling motifs. The phoenix stands on a rock with lingzhi mushrooms, floral scrolls, leaping carp, the rising sun, a flying bat, and bordered by auspicious characters and lucky bats.

A very rare sancai original, three color, glazed Tang duck cup probably used for drinking rice wine. Three colors with some blue cobalt. Check the closeup photos of the glaze with the natural cracking of the glaze due to long burial. It shows the authenticity of the piece. Size: L.16cm,H.9cm,W.8cm. Condition: Small chip on the rim. Chinese bamboo caving of Shoulao, the deity of longevity. He is sometimes referred to as the Old Man of the South Pole. His attributes include his large forehead, representing wisdom, and his long beard to show longevity. Shou Lao also holds a long staff and a peach branch to also symbolize a long and prosperous life. Shoulao is carved with a small boy riding a deer, who holds a magic box from which a bat flies out (an auspicious motif) and a crane.

Chinese Qing dynasty rectangular jade openwork plaque, carved with a design of a deer under a pine tree, mounted into the lid of an early 20th century rectangular silver box raised on four feet. Two-character “chun yin” (pure silver) mark to the bottom of the box. The jade has a pale celadon-gray hue. The box measures 3 1/2" long x 3” wide x 1 5/8” high. The jade plaque is 2 7/8” x 2 1/4." The total weight: 8.645 oz. Very good overall condition...

Chinese Qing dynasty bronze censer / Incense burner, Xuande mark. 17,2 cm wide. 11,5 cm mouth diameter. 7 cm high. 1078 gram weight. Good conditions .

A Late Ming dynasty Wanli period blue and white large Kendi / pouring vessel with rare galloping Horse and flower motif. Condition: Top part and near spout part has been damage and restored, please see picture for detail, Size: 19 cm height, 13 cm diameter.

Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Double Happiness Ginger Jar with fitted Rosewood carved top, Ca. late 1800's, 10 1/2" high with wooden top, 9" wide-widest part, 4 1/4" diameter-top rim, underglaze blue Double Happiness with Snow Pea flowers and vines, typical Straits culture design in China. The condition is good, very tight star shape glaze hairline on the bottom in the center about 2" to 3" wide, very old chip inside the top rim, this jar rings like bell.

Chinese pair of antique porcelain canton style vases of a squared body. Each vase decorated in mirrored enamel scenes of chrysanthemums, peonies, birds, and other nature motifs.

Chinese antique yuhuchunping, pear shaped porcelain vase with a short foot and slender neck flaring at the rim. Decorated with a copper-red underglaze scene of a four-clawed dragon amid swirling clouds. The inside of the rim is decorated with a classic scroll motif. The area just above the foot of the vase is encircle with a band of trefoils.
