$650.00 Antique Chinese cast bronze and hand-chiseled incense burner censer, signed with a seal mark in zhuanshu scripts, 18th -19th century, Qing dynasty.
The body of the censer is in the form of an elegant bombé vessel set with twin handles and four legs in the form of bamboo branches. Two sides are decorated with rectangular panels hand-chiseled in a low relief on a punched background; one panel with a horned deer next to a tree, the other panel with a bird and a tree... Large Chinese Qing dynasty porcelain wash basin decorated in underglaze blue with leafy vines and sweet pea flowers set against a white ground with a pale blue tint. The exterior holds three flying bats. There are small amounts of kiln grit adhering to the unglazed foot rim. The base is glazed. 13 3/8” diameter x about 4 1/2” high. 19th century. Very good overall condition with typical minor production imperfections...
