A very rare and unusual lotus form bowl on three lotus bud and seed pod feet very finely painted to the interior with vibrant Famille Rose enamels depicting bats and lotus amongst multiple sylized flower scrolls on a turquoise ground. This item was made in China during the reign of the Jiaqing Emperor (1796-1820) or late in the reign of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795). Beautiful Chinese famille rose butterfly pattern export porcelain cup and saucer with hard-to-find fluted edges. In excellent condition, no cracks, no chips, no hairlines, etc. The set measures 3" high with the saucer measuring 5.5" diameter, cup 3.75" diameter. Circa 1850
