Price on Request A genuine Guangxu Da Ya Zhai Porcelain Turquoise Bowl (1875-1908) with period markings and a lobed rim. Size: H. 3.5" x 8" top diameter and 3" bottom diameter. Condition: Has a hairline and the rim is broken in one spot which has been glued and a small hole which needs filling (see photographs). Needs a specialist to restore the bowl expertly. $350.00 Chinese Celadon crackled Stoneware Vase, ca. Ming period 1425-1644, 7" high, 5 1/2" wide-widest part, nicely crackled and shows raised rings like turning wheel pattern on the entire body by the turning wheel by the artist. Glazed with Celadon color inside the heavy top rim area, and the bottom is unglazed. One side shows darker area caused by the firing with wood burning inside the Dragon kiln. The condition is good, no damages.

Although we are not certain from which Neolithic culture it originates, it does have similarities to pottery of the Xindian Culture (c. 1200 - 500 BC). $350.00 A Nyonya plate with a painting of a Sage. It is unusual to find human figures on Nyonya ware. Makers mark stamped on the bottom of the plate. Nyonya wares are over-glaze polychrome enamelled porcelains made in Jingdezhen in the Kiangsi province of China for the Straits Chinese, or Babas, whose female counterparts are called Nyonyas, hence the term Nyonya ware. Nyonya wares were mainly reserved for festive occasions and special functions. Size. Diameter 21cm. H. 5cm.

Sold in our Liverpool shop - April 2019 / 利物浦店内售出 - 2019年4 月 A rare small wine cup painted with stylized lotus scrolls in underglaze blue. The base carries the six character mark of the Guangxu emperor and it was made during his reign (1875-1908).
Condition: excellent - no damages and no restoraton.
5.5cm (2.2 inches) diameter; 3cm (1.2 inches) high.
