$650.00 Intricately hand carved wood brush pot with various scenes of Chinese daily life by Chinese artist Shuyuan Zhang of Shunyi Beijing, China. In excellent original condition, it measures 5 1/8 inches high x 4" diameter. Dates pre 1980.
Chinese Qing dynasty ink and color on silk painting of a maiden in a garden setting seated on rockery and holding a flower under a willow tree. The ink inscription at the upper left states the painting was executed in the guimao year (1843) after Ming artist Tang Yin (1470-1524). Signed Wujin artist Tang Luming (1804-1874) and with two red artist seals, "Tang Luming yin" and "Lemin." An unidentified collector’s seal is at the lower left. Framed with UV Plexiglas. 19th century...

Rare Large Chinese Southern Dynasties Stoneware Jar
This rare stoneware jar was made during the Southern Dynasties period (AD 420 - 589). Such wares from this period are relatively rare and quite distinctive. This jar has a flat base, a wide mouth and a series of "square-cut" loop handles placed around the shoulder: a pair of single handles opposite each other as well as a pair of double handles opposite each other... Chinese Tang dynasty Changsha ware bowl. this type type little bit different because the foot rim is higher than the usual. 14,5 cm diameter. 6,3 cm high . there some smalls chipped at the rim, and glaze degradations. Free from any repair and crack.
Gilded wood. Guanyin sitting on a lotus throne, placed on an altar. the back plate decorated with mythical creatures. H. 39 cm. Condition: expected age wear.

GBP £650 Chinese Han Dynasty Painted Pottery Cocoon Jar
This pottery "cocoon" jar was made over 2,000 years ago during the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8). The shape, named after its similarity to the silkworm cocoon, evolved during the late Warring States period (475 - 221 BC) and then generally died out by the middle of the Western Han. The form of this particular example is a little different to some others with its more "rounded" body and shorter foot... Massive Chinese late Qing to Republic period hardwood scroll pot of naturally irregular tree trunk form carved from a single piece of wood with five nearly hidden bats along the sides. Hollow interior and flat bottom with separate plug. Late 19th to early 20th century. 19 3/8" high x about 9 3/4” diameter; 16 lbs. Very good overall condition with typical wear from age and use. From the collection of former American expatriates to Hong Kong in the 1970s and 1980s.
