Brooch or fibula? very thick cast copper alloy. Hot gold with mercury. The gilding is very thick. It is very well preserved and is only worn on the ends of the reliefs as can be seen in the photos. Three black stones are set. The stones are very worn by shocks or degraded by time? Two holes are drilled on either side of the center. The correct color is that of the first photo where we see the greenish gilding. Interesting jewel certainly very old several centuries. 93x30mm

porcelain kuan-yin enameled in iron red and copper green. Green enamel has an unusual iridescent metallic appearance that seems to be peculiar to an era or a production site. The statuette is made in a mold in 2 parts, the joint is visible below. The unglazed parts, at least the base, were covered with lacquer and gold which have disappeared leaving only traces (look photo). I attach the picture of a Guan-Yin with similar green. Usual wear. This plaque must have been part of a scholar's screen. It is carved in a Duan stone of 2 layers of different colors. An ochre layer and a brown layer. The brown layer is carved in depth until the ochre layer appears. The decoration is thus cut in brown on an ochre background.Qing period 19° century or earlier. Small hard stone vase, probably jadeite. Pale green color spotted with white and bright green with brown veins. The polish of the stone is rather matte than shiny. Finely carved hardwood base. Chinese work 19° or early 20° century. The dull polish of the stone would lead us to date it to the end of the Qing or earlier. Good condition, no restoration, the veins of the stone are not glued and are solid. Total height: 14cm. Vase without the base 11cm.

The body is composed of two phoenixes, the heads of the birds naturally forming the handles. The stone is very hard, green speckled with translucent white. The cover is also formed of 2 birds, it is not pierced so it is possible that it is not a censer, although it can be used without a cover. It is placed on a finely carved hardwood base. There are some numbers stamped inside, probably so as not to mix up the bases. China 20th century around the 70s. Good condition...

Table with double trays serving as a double stand for precious objects,censers or vases. It is constructed from a hard precious wood that resembles rosewood. It is possible that it is Huang-Hualy, a specialist will be able to identify it. The construction is very neat, the joints are perfect, it is a beautiful work of cabinetmaking. I think it is a Chinese piece of furniture from the beginning of the 20th century. Good condition, no restoration, beautiful patina. 545x245mm

A cast iron beast, probably a tiger. The elongated shape of the animal, the size, the sagging of the back, suggest that it is a brush rest. There are a lot of modern cast iron copies, which may be the case here, but we can certify that this little tiger has been in the Sakura collection for at least forty years, which proves nothing. Sculpture smal but powerfull. Good condition. Length: 85mm The price is depending on the doubt.

The padlock is made of thick bronze, solid construction, the partitions are thick. There is a secret system to clear the keyhole which is hidden. You can see in the photos the explanation of the system. The bronze has an excellent centuries-old patina and the object is discreetly decorated with chiselling at the ends. The rivets are in the shape of flowers. This padlock is simple but of good quality. The key is lost, but this type of key is technically easy to make. Dimensions: 150x55mm...

Set of 8 panels carved in a beautiful hardwood probably rosewood. They are very finely openworked with stylized dragons moving in scrolls. In the center a bone inlay. The cutouts as well as the details are very skilfully executed. Probably pieces of furniture. Probably china but perhaps vietnam. The largest panel measures 215mm. Bone inlays are missing.

Cast bronze incense burner. Simple, tripod shape, with cut-out rather than welded handles. Despite its simplicity, this censer is of a good quality finish, in fact you can see on some photos the traces of the passage of the scraper tool which makes a perfectly smooth surface. Below cast in the mass the mark of Xuande. Although bearing this mark of the 15th century, this type of bronze is from the Qing period...
