A bronze figure of Buddha standing on a platform that flares outward at the bottom. Traces of gilding. Holding His robe on his left arm. The facial features are simple - almost primitiveness in nature but charmingly expressive. Period: 3rd Century Tibet Size: Height = 10.2 cm Condition: Protruding features have some wear. Has a nice patina which, under magnification, reveals that it had originally been lacquered and gilded.

A Beautifully carved tube shaped jade. It is hard to date this piece and say that it is from the Hongshan period (3000BC). It is most likely from a later period as these item are extremely rare. This is a 19th century, Molded and Enameled Snuff Bottle, of flattened ovoid form, with shoulders slopping to a waisted neck and everted mouth rim, tapering toward a slightly concave oval foot, molded with a dragon that is enveloping the entire piece. It has been carved and colored to look like cinnabar lacquer...

This is a fine Famille Rose Figural Molded Porcelain Snuff Bottle, of flattened ovoid form, with a waisted neck, a flat gilded lip, and an oval concave foot. The body of the bottle crisply molded with bright colors a scene of the Nine Buddhist Lions at play amid clouds. The neck decorated with a leiwen border. There is a Qianlong Period (1,711 - 1,799) seal script Mark in iron red letters to the base. It comes with a red coral stopper...

One of a group of very large Ming Dynasty pottery horse riders.

The figure is of a military attendant, wearing a hat and carrying a book or a map under his arm. He wears a blue robe with turqoise sleaves. The unglazed areas are covered with white and black pigmented colors.

Note that the painting is very detailed and includes wonderful gthick and perfectly rendered facial features.
