A bronze water basin was inscribed with poems and carved with beautiful scenery on the surface. The inscriber was Pu Ton, A sibling of the last emperor of Qing Dynasty Pu Yi. Pu Ton was also a famous scholar of late Qing to early Republic periods. This bronze piece was cast in thin wall but was kept in very good condition with darken patina on the surface. Date: 1924, by the Chinese lunar date JiaZi inscribed before the poem...

By charming atmosphere and with mysterious beauty, an excavation piece of a jade Bi was presented in a unique form. As seemly a remnant of a hardstone's boulder of making the jade Bis, the Bi was actually a formal ritual object despite the roughly shaped side and the original stone encrustation preserved. In ancient times, jade pieces could be always so precious that nothing would be discarded even there're some defects... Chinese Ming dynasty (1368-1644) ritual dragon bell covered overall with a fine celadon glaze that extends down and stops neatly at the unglazed scalloped edge. The unglazed tips are burnt orange-brown from firing. Fine incised details are visible in the body behind the glaze. A double-dragon handle is at the top. The interior is fully glazed. There are no crackles evident in the glaze. Circa 14th/15th century. 4 1/8” high x 3 ¼” diameter at the base...

$1,000.00 A lidded container in a divided, compressed form of finely, carved bamboo root. Good luck bringing Bats (bianfu) carved in relief decorate the sides and lid. Bottom with a la grec pattern. Mid Qing, around 1800. H 10 cm, W 8.2 cm. Condition: Very good. Traces of wear. One short crack on the middle part of the bottom panel filled.
