Tall Chinese Han Dynasty Painted Pottery Female Attendant Figure   

This tall and impressive pottery figure was made during the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8). It is made from a dense grey pottery, the head made separately to the body. Both head and body have been "cold painted" in various coloured pigments, traces of which still remain. The figure represents a female attendant and she wears long flowing robes...

Chinese brown glazed pottery granary jar, with cylindrical shape, decorated with bands of incised lines, and supported by three legs in the shape of bears. Lead glaze with copper is the main colorant used in Han period to produce brown glaze. Brownware became popular during the Eastern Han period.

A complete calcified "chicken bone" jade necklace from the Longshan Period. Jade that has been buried for millenniums sometime calcifies to a white color losing all of it's original color. Age: 2800-1900 BC. Size. Length(closed) 29.5cm. Condition: Age calcification.

Chinese blanc de chine porcelain statue of Quan Yin, the Buddhist bodhisattva associated with compassion. Her name is short for Guanshiyin, meaning "Observing the Cries of the World." She stands upon strong, rolling winds and holds a lotus flower in her left hand. The statue is hollow and is pierced through her ears, eyes, and nostrils. 18th/19th Century Size: 12" height, 4.5" width

Antique Chinese robe made from beautiful red silk with auspicious designs of clouds, its interior lined in light blue silk. Its sleeves, collar, and bottom are lined in deep blue silk, with gold thread butterflies and flowers, and bordered with pink, white, yellow, and green auspicious motifs with a blue background. The back of the robe features a large bulb-eyed goldfish at its top and along its bottom are several birds done in coiled, gold thread. Size: 37" height, 62.5" width
