From our Early Chinese Collection, a rare glazed buddhist offering vessel with Oxford TL test from Yunnan Province, Song Dynasty China (960-1279 AD). The reddish-tinged and heavily potted buff body is decorated with a carved lotus leaf pattern in high relief, signifying “purity,” with the entire vessel covered in a rich emerald-green glaze with a few areas of slight iridescence from burial...

A spectacular 19th century large Famille Rose pink-ground flared rim porcelain beaker vase, finely enameled with a pair of phoenix resting on cherry blossom limbs, surrounded by scattered peony blossoms. Orange peel glaze. Interior and base glazed turquoise. Measures 15" tall. Excellent condition.

Antique Chinese Imperial Court robe with 8 dragons. Wonderfully embroidered with forbidden stitch used extensively throughout on 8-5 clawed gold dragons, phoenixes, butterflies, bats, flowers, shi-shi lions playing with ribboned ball, and fans. Beautiful pair of white and green Peking glass vases from circa 1900. Peking glass is chinese overlay glass that has been carved. Traditional Chinese water scene with ducks, swooping birds, and lotus flowers in green on white ground. Measures 10" high 3" diameter at base. Previously used as a pair of lamps. Late 19th/ early 20th century.

Beautifully finished antique chinese two section medicine chest from the 19th century, circa 1900. There are 24 small drawers. The drawers each have two sections and are numbered on the back. There are two large drawers that are divided into three sections. They are fitted with round brass drawers pulls. The front is faced with jumu wood. It measures 37" wide 66" tall 18.75" deep.

Beautiful black birds perched over a chrysanthemum bush. There is an inscription in the upper left corner and a cartouche. Sumi and light colors on silk. Mid Ching dynasty (1644-1911), circa 1800. It measures 12" wide 32" long, overall 16" wide by 55.5" long.
