One of the vases has a white foot rim and is white deep inside; the other is "burned" (iron oxide) orange on the foot rim and inside. Cartouche Ming Dynasty - most likely 19th century Dimensions: 7 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" high Chinese Ming dynasty 15th century blue and white duck ewer or water dropper. Good conditions except upper part of duck beak has been repaired. 9,5 cm wide. 6,5 cm high.

Shell mounted on a silver base. Chinese work made for export? From memory I seem to recall that a pair of identical cups were presented at the V&A in the 90s. The shell is held by silver nuts in the shape of a butterfly, it rests on a grove of 3 silver bamboos. The whole rests on a finely worked wooden base. The other nuts are in the shape of clover. The whole is finely worked and chiselled. Beautiful finish. Extremely rare object. Very certainly end of the 18th century...

Chinese Yuan dynasty longquan celadon dish decorated with nice single fish at the centre. 20,5 cm diameter. Dish has two chipped at the rim and one chipped at the foot rim (please see on the pictures) Free from any repaired.

SOLD Antique Chinese blue and white glazed bowl with low walls and flared rim. Painted with a five-clawed dragon in the center and swirling mist. The low walls are decorated with scrolling flowers and vines on both the inside and the outside. There is a lovely crackling of the glaze on the bottom interior.

SOLD Ancient Chinese tomb pottery figure of a horse and rider. Made of gray clay and painted with polychrome slip pigment. The figure is clothed in flowing robes and a hat that covers his ears. Facial details on both the figure and the horse are wonderfully well preserved.
