Chinese small dish in the form of an open lotus leaf, finely carved of beautiful translucent jadeite, white color with a mossy green color over a portion of the leaf, two small flowers on the side are also green and orange, mid 20th century. Size: 3 3/4" wide

Antique Chinese snuff bottle, made of Jade, with carvings of a large feline with split tail on its front and back. The bottle has a stopper made of beautiful green agate. 19th century Size: 3.25" tall, 1.5" wide

A sublime calligraphy scroll having a Chinese attribution. The rough and swift strokes of the calligraphy can be seen as if movement is caught frozen in time. The calligraphy reads as an auspicious poem where the poet is using the flow of water in relation to the spread and development of the family with generation after generation of children. Chinese porcelain vase in a deep purple/navy glaze, with a short body and long cylindrical neck. The color transitions to a light purple near the mouth of the vase.

Indonesian hardwood bench with breathtakingly detailed carvings all around. The entire back is gorgeously carved and piercing with balls of smoke surrounding two large dragons on either side of a solid central carving featuring robed noblemen and women and men carrying objects amongst trees and structures. A wonderful Chinese Bronze Buddha, crowned on a lotus seat with serene expression in the face.

The antique inscribtion says 'Ming Di Yong Ping San Nian Zhi', translatable as 'Made in the Third Year of the Yongping Reign of Emperor Ming'.

Ming Di was the posthumous reign title of Liu Yang, who succeeded to the throne on the death of his father to become the 2nd emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty. The third year of his rule would have been 60 A.D...

Antique Chinese large cabinet. Beautifully lacquered with scenes of birds and flowers in gold on a red lacquer ground. Large doors open to reveal a compartment with two shelves. A very rare and characteristically glazed foo lioness with her left paw on the head of her baby. These usually come in pairs. One with the baby foo lion under the paw and one with a ball under the paw. This one has a lot of feeling with the baby foo lion looking annoyed with the paw pushing down on its head. There is always some humor with some of these statues. Size: H. 40cm. W. 35cm. Condition: Some pieces missing from age and weather.

Chinese Ming Dynasty (perhaps older) stone head of a Buddha. Well carved with the face in a pleasant expression with beautiful lips and almond-shaped eyes, flanked by elongated earlobes.

A very rare large four scene Ming jar (1368 - 1644 AD) with three panels depicting the three friends and an additional panel of a small animal, the moon and a mountain scene. Size: H. 56cm. W. 38cm. Condition: No repairs. Some loss of the glaze around the rim. "For his residence, earth was piled to form a hill and a hundred plum trees, which along with lofty pines and tall bamboo comprise the friends of winter, were planted."
