The beige ground has woven patterns of flowers and butterflies on which different kind of flowers and large butterflies in multicolored silk floss are embroidered. Borders in dark blue bands with embroidered flowers; cuffs in yellow silk ground with embroidered Immortals in garden scenes. Lining in light blue silk. Central frontal opening. Antique Chinese framed blue silk embroidery which appear to be sleeve bands that are stitched together. The textile is decorated with two phoenix, two dragons, and Chinese seal script. All are hand applied using gold gilt wrapped threads. In excellent condition, measures 27" x 15" including frame. The silk measures 21.5" x 10". Dates circa 1900.
