Chinese Qing dynasty bronze compressed globular bombe form censer with two well executed Buddhist lion-mask handles. High circular foot with an apocryphal six-character Ming Xuande reign mark in relief within a recessed rectangular panel on the base. 5 1/2” diameter (including handles) x 2 5/8” high. Weighs 1 lb. 2 oz. 19th century. Very good overall condition. Appears to have been polished years ago.

Chinese Ming dynasty bronze standing acolyte on wood stand naturalistically pierced and carved to resemble a rocky outcropping. The left hand holds an object and the right hand gestures with two fingers pointing to the ground. The figure wears a gown and a headdress with long billowing ribbon scarves. Metal prongs secure the figure into the stand which appears to be original. 6 5/8" high on the stand. Excluding the metal prongs, the figure is slightly over 5" high. Circa 16th century...

An unusual bone handle dagger decorated with a turquoise stone and silver a copper fittings. The sheath is made of silver with a woven silver chain attached to the knife. There is piece of "stingray skin" wrapped around the middle. There is one turquoise stone decorating the sheath with two red (resin) stones that originally were red coral.The blade is made of steel. Age: late 19th Century to early 20th. Size: 17.5cm. Condition: No repairs.

Chinese bronze scroll weight of a Qilin; good condition

Description: A fine bronze casting work of a sage riding on a standing deer. By dark patina, the figure and the deer were depicted in details by great craftsmanship. They were hollow cast and sealed and being reserved no casting holes. In a perfect condition, the bronze piece would be a joyful addition to your collection of Chinese bronzes. A Tibetan bronze flaying knife or chopper with a curved steel blade used in rituals by Buddhist Vajrayana priests. The flayer was a symbolic instrument and never used to really chop or flay people. Hence, the blade is dull. The blade has oxidized on both sides and there is some verdigris inside the top of the handle. Measures 6.75 inches x 7" high. Dates 1800's.

Cast bronze "soliflore"vase.The neck is engraved in the archaic Chinese style of stylized cicadas and Greeks, it ends by flaring and closing to create a bulb in the shape of a head of garlic, hence the English term "Garlic" to name this style, the body is modeled in a slice of melon.Small vase, simple but very elegant.. Chinese work early Qing Dynasty.The beautiful old patina of this bronze confirms it as being centuries old.18th century or earlier. H:17cm.

19th C bronze Chinese vase featuring elegant lines and a beautiful warm patina. Condition is very good with some surface micro abrasions, interior with scattered dots of patination (see last photo), all of which are consistent with age. Circa 1860-1880.
