The design of butterflies and melons is seldom encountered on Chinese porcelain, found only on a few Qianlong pieces. This shaped dish I feel is from the early 19th century but the ‘orange peel’ surface of the porcelain is often found on Qianlong export pieces. Like the Qianlong painted melons these have a pronounced ‘spotting’ in either famille rose or gold enamel on the fruits.

A very attractive QING blue and white porcelain plate with underglaze blue fish center medallion surrounded by 4 additional fish. Base has double circle and 4 character mark in center. Condition is good with two tiny inconsequential fritts and one small chip on rim. Size 5" diameter H. 3/4"

Two antique Chinese famille rose porcelain bowls, both bowls have 'Guangxu' mark on the bases and of the period. Size; Diameter of larger bowl is 5 inches and diameter of smaller bowl is 4 1/4 inches. Condition Report; Both bowl have very tiny chip to the outer side of rim, other than that, in very good condition.

Pair of Chinese Famille Rose Lamp Vase with Scholars and Landscape Signed, Late 19th Century

The vases alone are 16.5 inches (41.9 cm) tall by 6 inches (15.2 cm) wide. They are 6 Lb.

They are in good condition no repairs, chips, or cracks, except holes drilled at the bottom, retouched and repainted by the manufacture at one vase's corner, and another vase has a foot slightly filed (as seen in the photos)...

A lovely Jiaqing period floral dish, decorated with good-quality bright enamels. Possibly a birthday dish, as there is a bat (good fortune) and peach (longevity) in the dish center.

Condition: good antique condition, with two rim chips and some fleabites to the foot rim...

A 19th century celadon vase of robust globular shape, with a waisted neck to imitate the look of revolving vases. Against the molded celadon ground are enameled famille rose flower sprays, with a Prunus branch curious enameled to the base. Producing this vase would have required two separate firings...

Three Chinese late Qing dynasty to Republic period robin's egg (called lu Jun, or "furnace Jun") glazed porcelain scholar's desk articles including a hexagonal form water pot with an applied qilong climbing on the side (about 3" diameter by 2 1/8" high), a ribbon bound triple-gourd vase with three openings (4 1/2" high), and a rectangular brush holder in the form of a stove (2 3/8"L x 1 3/4"D x 1 3/4"H)...

The lid is inscribed in Chinese with marks by the artist, and the inside bottom piece shows a large river flowing into open waters. Interesting sprue mark pattern on bottom. Chinese antique large planter, round form and standing on three stout legs, around the center is a ring of applied carved porcelain butterflies with lion like heads and white glaze, around the rim is a ring of applied carved porcelain florets, the bottom has a hole for drainage. Minor losses and cracks from firing process, there is also an impressed six character mark From Jingdezhen. 19th century. Size: 15" high x 18 1/4" wide.
