The vase is decorated with a mountainous, rocky river landscape that depicts brightly robed scholars at leisure in pavilions within bamboo groves, pine trees and birds formations, all between decorative bands and keyfret scroll. It is 11 inches (28 cm) tall by 19.5 inches (49.5 cm) wide. The plaque is 5.7 inches (14.5 cm) long by 3.9 inches (10 cm) wide. It weighs 3 lb.

It has hairline cracks, rubbing of paint, and surface wears and scratches. There is peeling of paint and chips at the wood frame (as seen in the photos).

A rather unusual glazed Chinese yixing tea pot. Traditionally, mixing tea posts are unglazed and this pot combines unglazed sections, such as the interior and the glazes that encompass the exterior side of the pot. The pot contains a seal on both the undersides of the lid and pot, of the maker attributing to Zhao Jingnan. Zhao Jingnan was a noted artist specializing in producing fixing and zhisha tea wares during the Qing Dynasty...

Antique Chinese porcelain bowl, of an oval form with ribbed sides and a famille rose color palette. The yellow sides are incised with various Chinese inscriptions in blue glaze while several key characters are glazed in red. The foot is tall and deeply recessed with a red seal of Daoguang (1821-1850). The bowl is placed within a dramatic metal display of a fleur de lys design, raising it on narcissus style legs.
