A calcified jade belt hook with a dragon head and long body with comma style carvings. The round attachment under the piece has some of the actual jade exposed. See last two photos. Size: 16cm X 1.5cm. Age: Hard to date this piece.Han or earlier.

Authentic rare ancient Chinese, Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD), silver – inlaid, thinly cast bronze, circular hand mirror. The front of the mirror is decorated with silver inlaid with three lotus leaf motifs near the outer rim; the inner site has remains of the silver plating.
CONDITION: In good condition considering its age, with beautiful green patina showing its age and usage. The mirror originally had a handle which at some point was broken off...

Description: An exquisite white jade piece was shaped as a hanging piece and a display item as well. Carved with figurines of an old man carrying a boy on his back which was a Chinese metaphor of longevity and fertility of boys. One nice set of cup/stand was well mold.
It was applied on the surface with persimmon glaze. The body clay revealed was whitish gray tint.
Both were in old feel.

This particular object appears to be the support of a large bronze base, as shown on a picture of similar objects exhibited at the National Historical Museum in Beijing (cat.
