Antique Chinese fan with two lovely women hand painted on feathers. The body of the fan appear to be made of bone. The colors of the peacock feathers are beautiful.The light reflected in gold (frame), took away the age. All and all, It has more antique look than shown in the photos. Tranquil scene of a deer on a precarious cliff. From the master shiden school, shou yuan'nan Gu Hei- Old mortar calligraphy translation "one hundred blessings" with a cartouche. Picture measures 62.5" high by 33.5" wide. Overall it measures 38 6/8" wide by 88" long. Ink and mineral colors on paper.

Up for sale is a very rare antique Chinese silk brocade panel with a large phoenix roundel in the middle, 11.5" diameter, together with other smaller patterns related to buddhism; Qing dynasty, or could be earlier, very intricate piece of art work with fine gold threads; backed with light yellow-ish silk lining. Overall the panel is in excellent condition, folding line in the middle, one water mark in the roundel which I believe can can be cleaned up. Measurements: Approx 44.5" x 28.5".

It is very hard to find genuine Jizhou wares with tortoisshell glaze.
It was unique too to find them in pairs even though they're dolls.
And most importantly they were in obvious condition for authentication.
The buried deposits were firmly left here and there on the surface.
And the glaze were partially crackled due to age.
The body clay were light brownish with soft matrix quality...

A wonderful matching pair of Chinese pottery figures of male and female attendants. The figures date to Ming Dynasty 1368-1644 AD.

They are both dressed in robes glazed matching torqouise and dark blue colors. They are placed on plints and each carry a box in front of the chest. He wewars a black hat, and shea has an artfully styled hairdress. The heads are attachable.

Facial details were made with fragile pigment colors of which some remains.
