An rare an early gilt on bronze Tang-sui votive on four curved feet with vine branches holding seven Buddhas. These images appear early Buddhist iconography representing the Buddhas of the Past. It has rubbing of gilt, peeling of lacquer, pitting, firing holes, chips, missing one arm, oxidation, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

A large, Museum Quality tomb pottery figure of a female attendant. Se carries a dish in front of her chest.

The figure dates to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.

The figure is placed on a large Lotus throne on top of high hexagonal plint, both are in fine deep cobolt blue and turquiose coloured glaze, as is the robe.

Her hair is styled very artfully and her head has finely hand painted facial details...

The natural cobalt had become to be imported to China again at Jiajing period, and so color development of blue had become very clear...

Blue & white pieces in Jingdezhen Ming dynasty like these are called "古染付 kosome" and loved by Japanese tea masters.Especially natural chips on the mouth edge are loved and called "虫喰　mushikui" that means worm eating marks.
