$675.00 A elegant lacquerware for monastery use. Made in Kyaukka, in the lower Chindwin District in Burma, made from woven matting and coiled bamboo and lacquered in black and red. This piece has seven sections. These original Kyaukka pieces are difficult to come by.
Size: H. 38cm. W. 40cm.
Condition: All original. Some minor chips and one small piece re-glued on. See photo.
A Kashmir papier-mache vase with polychrome and gold lacquer decoration in the Mughal style. Showing couple of birds on a mille-fleurs ground or a golden feather pattern, framed by a mihrab border. The sides with two small handles in the shape of tiger heads. Condition: some chips and losses to the lacquer. Dimension: c. 22.8 cm high.

SOLD Antique Korean white brass jewelry box, its lid with inlaid motif of an auspicious character meaning wealth or prosperity. Interior lined with wood. The rectangular box stands on four stylized feet.

$450.00 Tea bowl of irregular shape. Deep dark brown clay covered in a greenish-gray glaze that leaves the bottom part of the bowl uncovered. The inside in the same tone with a brown patch. The rim covered with a brownish-green glaze. One looped line decoration in brownish green on the outside. A small patch at the inside of the bowl left uncovered. Karatsu ware, of the type ‘egaratsu’ (decorated Karatsu), Japan, Edo period, early 19th century.
H 2.75 inches, diameter 5 inches (6.9 x 12.6 cm). Pair of tall Chinese famille verte enamel tapered square form porcelain vases molded with relief decoration of the eighteen immortals among clouds set against a pierced ground. A rust-red 5-clawed dragon wraps around the neck of each. Circa 1900 to early 20th century. An apocryphal impressed zhuanshu 6-character Qing dynasty Kangxi square form reign mark is on the base.
