Price on Request A stunning HONGZHI (HUNG-CHIH 1488-1505) DEEP Rich Yellow glazed dish with rounded sides supported on a tapered foot, the interior incised with an Imperial 5- clawed Dragon amidst Ruyi Clouds, encircled by a band of motifs. The exterior is decorated with auspicious symbols, applied overall with this deep/rich, yellow, shiny glaze. The base has the 6 character HONGZHI Mark. Size: 8 3/4" diameter x height 1 3/4"

Price on Request It is a beautiful kimono in excellent condition. The black dye changed it's color to a current black which has a tint of brown. The silk is in a super good condition. The design is the favorite design of Kakiemon, the hoo bird and the leaves of the paulownia tree. The hoo bird has been associated with the Empress in Japan and her crest is an elegantly designed paulownia leaves.

sold, with thanks! A covered box in red tinged shino glaze by Hori Ichiro enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Nezumishino Tobako. The pin-holed thick white glaze appears to be licked by the shadows of the flames, and on one side the artists finger prints are clearly visible as four molten points. The way the reds move like vapor across the surface it is as if it is still on fire. It is 10 inches (28cm) long and in excellent condition.

A Carved and Gilded Buddhist Reliquary containing a polished pink stone exhibited at the Shimane Prefectural Musuem Arakawa Kisai exhibition in 1974 enclosed in a custom-made wooden box and retaining the loan papers from the museum as well as the original pamphlet. The wood body has been carved in tempestuous waves, lacquered black and gilded, with a polished pink orb inside a flame shaped finial. It is 7 inches (18 cm) tall and in excellent condition.
