Tibetan Himalayan polished Heavy Brass Door Knocker, Door Handle, 4 1/8" diameter-back plate, 1 1/8" width for back plate, 3 1/8" deep-entire length of screw, double Dragon knocker, heavy octagonal shape screw attached. The polished heavy brass is very nice quality and clean, ready to hang on your door.

Tibetan seated figure likely that of arhat Ajita, one of the 16 arhats. He is identified by two corresponding features; his hands which are resting in his lap in dhyanamudra (the gesture of mediation) and his covered head. His face is handsome (due to an accumulation of virtue) and his gaze is tranquil. Made of gilt copper repousse and with silver repousse over laid details. He sits on a lotus base and his facial features are painted.

Tibetan bronze gilt statue of Kubera, known as the "Lord of Wealth and the North". He originates from Hindu mythology but is also recognized in Buddhism and Jainism. He holds a mongoose as a symbol of his victory over the Nagas, snakelike deities and guardians over treasures. He sits upon the back of a lionlike creature and has an arch of flames with gilt tips behind him. The jewels on his crown and around his neck are dotted with blue and red enamel. Size: 13.5" height, 10" width, 6" depth

A fine portrait-image of Tsongkapa (1357–1419), the founder of the Gelugpa School of Tibetan Buddhism. Brownish bronze alloy with a high content of copper. Tibet, 17th century. H 14 cm. Fully sealed with original closing. Condition: Some rubbing to gold, and sword on the right shoulder missing.

A very attractive votive image of Akshobya Buddha in fire gilt bronze. He is seated on a fairly high, lotus throne. The hem of his robes are accentuated with raised lines made as strings of pearls with the lower parts decorated w. incised patterns. The robe covering the left arm is open underneath and the rim of the seat has large pearls in accordance with 15th century stylistic features for Central Tibetan bronze images of Buddha...

The expression of Sakyamuni is beautiful and serene. Clearly carved by a master artist. The image is made of one single piece of precious, dark purplish zitan wood. These type of wood images were made of different parts and assembled ( it can be seen by the holes where the various parts would have been stacked together ). Unfortunately the arms and lower part of the body has been lost but it is still a very charming piece! Fixed on a newer hardwood stand. Tibet, 16–17th cent...

Fine lime box, made of silver with embossed decoration of floral and geometric design, its lid being adorned at its top with an embossed brass decor representing a stylised Buddhist Wheel of the Law. Beneath, an embossed design representing a stylised Buddhist Wheel of the Law surrounded by a floral decor. The box still contains remnants of lime, which is used for the betel. Tibet, early 20th century, maybe earlier. Dimensions: height: 4.8 cm, diameter: 6.3 cm. Very good condition.
