A silver box with hinged lid, standing on four ball feet the base with Arabic inscription. An oblong silver tray on four feet and a fine small dish. Condition: some traces of usage, box not closing completely. Dimension: box: c. 12.6 x 6.9 x 4.4 cm, weight: 211 g, oblong tray: c. 16.5 x 11.5 x 1.2 cm, weight: 148 g, dish: 11 x 0.7 cm, weight: 44 g.

Vintage East Indian altar shrine, made from brass with copper nails. The step base leads into the shrine with embossed tree panels behind four pillars. The top of the structure has two peacock shaped finials. Openwork repeating patterns and floral motifs are shown throughout.

A punch dagger with tapering double edged steel blade, each face decorated with a four-armed deity. Straight handle with double-grip, decorated on the side with flowers. Sheath made of wood with velvet lining. Condition: tip slightly chipped, sheath with losses. Some flash rust. Dimension: 44.6 cm long, 7.4 cm wide.

Wonderful hand-carving from teak wood depicting Ganesha, the Hindu god of beginnings. He is easily identifiable by his elephant's head and four arms, two of which are shown holding his own broken tusks, and one of which is grasping his nose. Antique bronze Krishna in the pose of playing a flute. Krishna charmingly lets his head fall to one side as he plays a flute or other wind instrument. Finely cast unusual statue of Hindu god Kartikeya, wearing jewels and a loincloth, standing on a stylised lotus.The right hand of this statue is poised as if holding a staff and the left hand rests on his thigh. He is seen as a mendicant with just a loincloth on. This form of Kartikeya is also called Dandayudhapani (the one who holds staff in hand).Bronze, with nice age patina. Stunning pair of heavy silver bangles inlaid with raw polished Baltic amber, total 184 grams of silver. These have spring loaded hinges so they do not require a clasp. Inner diameters are 18cm.
