Chinese large porcelain vase with light blue jun ware underglaze. The body is pear shaped and slightly lobed, with dramatically fluted neck and rim, and short foot.

The Jun glaze is a complex blue glaze which was developed in Henan province during the the Northern Song and Jin dynasties, occasionally with red streaks. Jun wares have their name after Jun zhou from where it originated...

Chinese small ceramic water coupe, the interior and outer body with thick grey crackle glaze, the dark brown clay body exposed where the glaze drips end. The short, rounded form has a ribbed body and slightly flared, wide mouth. Possible Guan Ware c15th century.

Rare amber Buddhist mala or prayer beads, with 18 large beads for keeping count when reciting a mantra. Each large bead and spacer is carved from old amber tree resin with marbled color of black, red, and yellow. The strand has a tassel on its end.

An orange-red five-clawed sinewy dragon among flames is in the interior well. A six-character kaishu iron-red Guangxu mark is on the base. Probably of the period and circa 1900. Antique Chinese hardwood altar table with hand carved lingzhi spiral apron joined in upturned flanges. The feet are spanned by an openwork of hand carved panels with drapery motifs. Original warm finish. Very sturdy, condition consistent with age.

Chinese porcelain vases with red enamel five clawed dragons with motifs of floral scrolls and waves. These vases are of a highly thin Meiping form with six character mark on the recessed foot.

The meiping was first made of stoneware during the Tang dynasty (618–907). It was originally used as a wine vessel, but since the Song dynasty (960–1279) it also became popular as a plum vase and got its name "meiping"...

Chinese large monochrome peking glass bowl in a pale green color similar to jadeite. The rim flares out slightly from the flattened circular body, and stands on a short foot with recessed middle. With carved wood base.
