$2,000.00 Chinese eggshell thin ding ware porcelain bowl, with celadon crackle glaze that ends just below the rim, left in bare porcelain. Inside the bowl, the well has a deeply incised outline contrasting with the inner walls of the bowl. The outer edges of the bowl are carved with delicate floral scrolls.
Song Dynasty Dimensions: 6 3/4" w x 2 1/2" h Intricately carved mask for the Nuo esoteric theater, representing the legendary character of Bao Gong, or Judge Bao, wearing a formal hat, his face in relief with a fierce expression, with bulging eyes, open mouth revealing fangs, and a stylised beard. Wood, with traces of the original polychrome colouring. China, 18th century. Height: 29.6 cm. Very good condition despite signs of old insect infestation (no danger).
The small size of the figures (23-29 cm) makes this an interesting and rare group. The moulded figures still have much of their painting intact. The come in different sizes with different faces. Originally they carried wooden attributes or weapons.
Condition: normal age wear, a few repairs (one arm and some toes, see pictures), overal in very good condition. Every figure comes with an acrylic stand

The lingzhi symbolizes good health and longevity, as depicted in the imperial Forbidden City and Summer Palace. Dates 19th century Dimensions: 3 1/2" x 1 3/4" x 1" Chinese Qing dynasty porcelain dish decorated in the doucai style with a central roundel holding an underglaze blue five-clawed dragon among clouds surrounded by a famille rose enamel butterfly among five clusters of leafy stems holding three peaches each. A geometric blue band extends around the inner rim. The outer edge holds three famille rose enameled floral sprays. A six-character blue kaishu form Guangxu mark (1875-1908) is on the base. Probably of the period...
A pair Kangxi period (1662-1722) molded plates with foliated rim, painted in overglaze red pigment and gold. This kind of trade porcelain was produced to special order for the Dutch market and called there "melk and bloed". Condition: wear to gilding, rims with fritting - no hairlines or restoration. Dimension: c. diameter 21.7 cm, 2.5 cm high.
