The foot of each vase is marked with a four character cartouche.

Late 18th Century Chinese White Jade Carving Belt Hook & Plaque with Tourmaline Silver Plated (NOT SILVER) Mirror

The mirror is 9.4 inches (24 cm) in length by 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) wide. The plaque is 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) by 3.1 inches (8 cm) wide. The belt hook is 4.7 inches (12 cm) in length by 0.8 inch (2.25 cm) wide and 21.94 mm thick. It weighs 290 gram.

It has tarnished metals and flea bite chips at the jade carvings...

One side of the snuff bottle is the image of Daruma (達磨) and the other side is Budai or Hotai (布袋和尚). It is in great condition.

Description: A black-glazed, narrowed-neck bottle vase was squeezed and applied on shoulder with four small looped handles.
Well applied on the surface with dark glaze which was in greasy feel and was yielded with immensely spread crackles due to age, it was sat on a flat bottom from which the grayish white-tinted body clay was revealed.

Date: Southern Dynasty南朝, 5th-6th century.
