Chinese antique bronze incensor of immortal riding three legged toad, animated modeling of sage joyously riding on money toad with upraised arms and balancing on raised leg. Figure lifts off as cover to container which is the frog's body. Dark patinated bronze. Good condition.

Chinese antique colored porcelain immortal, Sau, beautifully modeled and painted, standing with blooming peach staff, symbol of longevity & immortality, jovial countenance, facial hair attached made of grey horsehair. Yellow robe with Shou on sleeves.shoulders, and back, peaches, dragon in clouds, flying cranes, impressed cartouche on base. Good condition, some wear to overglaze.

This finely detailed Chinese porcelain plate would make a fine addition to any Rose Mandarin or Rose Medallion collection. It is unusual in that the central medallion features a group of scholars. The rough and somewhat gritty bottom of the plate without any factory markings suggest a factory production circa 1850-1891. In very good antique condition, there is some wear to the enameling in one spot. See photos. Measures 9.5 inches diameter.

Up for sale is an antique Chinese Qing dynasty embroidered semi formal dragon silk robe, Jifu, with nine 5-clawed dragons executed in couched gold wrapped threads; clouds, Buddhist & Taoist auspicious symbols, bats, sea waves, and standing water ( Lishui) are embroidered with silk floss, lined with blight blue silk. Overall is in excellent condition, no frays across shoulders' folding lines, minor staining & discoloration to silk lining...

Up for sale is an antique Chinese Manchu woman's informal domestic robe, 19th century; pink silk ground and ribbons/trims all embroidered with orchids and butterflies, lined with yellow silk. An antique Chinese wedding wine table made entirely of Nan-mu wood. Featuring the Ming dynasty style double interlocking rings of marriage surrounding the sides of the table. Supported on the underside by inner humpback stretchers. Clear lacquer finish was used to showcase the beautiful grain of the wood while the legs and sides were carved to look like bamboo...

A pair of antique Chinese architectural spandrels hand carved in high relief from Elm wood in a reticulated design using polychrome natural color pigments. The left panel features a monkey, a fu dog and a parrot while the right panel shows a pair of cranes and a mother deer with its fawn...

Two green glazed Shekwan / Shiwan jars, probably late 19th century. Both with molded decoration of flower sprigs and a ruyi border. Jars like these were placed on either side of a grave as offerings, one containing rice and the other water. Height "3 ½ / 9 cm, diameter "4 and 4 ½ / 10 and 11 cm respectively. Condition: fine. A Chinese seal, reddish-brown soapstone, all around with engraved little landscapes and a coiling snake on top. Chinese probably auspicious characters to one side. The name of the owner, Bettina, is carved both in Chinese and Latin lettering. Height "3 1/3/ 8.5 cm. Condition: fine.

An antique Chinese Hong-mu hardwood marble top side table with reticulated Chrysanthemum carvings. Cabriolet legs with carved feet. Center carved stretcher support with secondary stretcher just under the table.

Early 1800's underglaze cobalt blue decorated Chinese tea bowl stands. The center of the dish is open with a raised collar and the opening designed to accommodate a footed tea bowl. The underside is decorated with concentric rings and three stylized bats. The side of the foot ring is decorated with auspicious symbols. In very good condition showing very little sign of wear. They measure 4 inches diameter, interior diameter 2 1/8" and 1 1/8" high.

Small Chinese Ming natural Celadon finished dish with ribbed interior with fluted flange. Excellent condition with natural patina consistent with age.
Celadon is a term for pottery denoting both wares glazed in the jade green celadon color, also known as greenware (the term specialists now tend to use, and a type of transparent glaze, often with small cracks, that was first used on greenware, but later used on other porcelains...

Small Jade fluted bowl most likely a water coupe for calligraphy. Dates from the 19th century.

Chinese Tang Dynasty Guardian, having dramatic features and detail, a magnificent terrecotta warrior. Known as mingqui in Chinese, these figures were of servants, soldiers (in male tombs) and attendants such as dancers and musicians, with many no doubt representing courtesans. In burials of people of high rank there may be soldiers and officials as well.
