1900's Chinese Silver Lock Necklace with Turquoise & Agate Carved Bead Marked

It is 15.7 inches (40 cm) long by 7.75 inches (19.8 cm) wide. The lock pendant is 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) long by 3.3 inches (8.5 cm) wide. The beads range from 14.5 mm to 24.4 mm. It is 208.8 gram.

Fine Large Chinese Neolithic Banshan Painted Pottery Jar

This impressive pottery jar was, incredibly, made around 4,500 years ago during the Banshan Phase (c. 2600 - 2300 BC) of the Majiayao culture, also known as the Gansu-Yangshao culture, from present day Gansu or Qinghai province.

This jar is made from a relatively highly-fired pale reddish pottery. For its size it is relatively thinly-potted. It has two sturdy loops handles on opposing side of the waist...

The perfection of the volumes, the search for detail and the neat finish are similar to those that we admire on the Netsuké. This little deer must be a Japanese work rather than a Chinese one, it is impossible to date it with exactness. Probably Edo or earlier. This pottery model of a duck was made during the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25 - 220) and has been excavated in Sichuan province. It is very "heavily" potted and sturdy, and has been made in a two-part mould. Note the detail of the feathers on its back.

Chinese Song dynasty Longquan celadon twin fish bowl with lotus petal at the outer wall. 13 cm diameter, 4,7 cm high. Bowl chipped on restoration condition.

Chinese Yuan - Ming dynasty celadon glaze vase or jar. 19 cm high. Jar has small chipped at the mouth rim on restoration. Similar jar found on museum describe as Yuan dynasty from Dongmen Kiln.

Considered with remained white slip and shape of bottom, it is seemed this piece would be made in early Ryao, has Tang -style. It has very clean green glaze. Certification: by Noriki Shimazu the famous researcher with Asian antique in Japan. Size: 11.5cm(D) 9.4cm(H)

Statue of a Taoist deity --- maybe a judge in Hell --- in mandarin attire, sitting on a throne, his hands in praying posture. Lacquered and gilt wood. China, Qing dynasty, 18th century.
