1930's Chinese Silver Amber Carved Plaque Bracelet with Bird Marked "Silver"

It is 6.3 inches (16 cm) in inner circumference by 2.2 inches (5.6 cm) in inner diameter. The plaque is 1.12 inches (2.85 cm) wide by 0.78 inch (2 cm) in length. It is 24.3 gram.

The silver is tarnished and has surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Deity probably Taoist in soapstone. The god is standing, brandishing the Ying and the Yang. It must refer to a specific character and a story or legend. The work is finely executed and the style of the carving is unusual, cartoonish. In addition, the artist allowed himself to cheat by abnormally moving the left ear too close to the eye so that, seen from the front, the face is balanced...

A Chinese seal, reddish-brown soapstone, all around with engraved little landscapes and a coiling snake on top. Chinese probably auspicious characters to one side. The name of the owner, Bettina, is carved both in Chinese and Latin lettering. Height "3 1/3/ 8.5 cm. Condition: fine.

Chinese soapstone pebble, beautifully carved with scene of three luohan (monks), one is standing with alms bowl outstretched out of which a cloud of mist rises and wraps to the reverse of the pebble, two bats fly over the bowl, surrounding the monks are rocks and low branches, lovely yellow and buff colors, on carved wooden base. Total size (on stand): 3 3/8" high

A very nicely carved white soap stone laughing Buddha, measures 10 cm by 5.3 cm, early republic period

Chinese soapstone chop seal with three carved foo dogs standing on a pedestal. The carve work is beautiful and immaculate. The soapstone has a nice muted grey-green color with soft red and gold tone accents. The carved seal on the bottom has remnants of red pigment. Repulic period 20th century. Size: 5.5" height, 2" width, 2" depth

A small Guanyin / Guan Yin, moving graciously with ribbons and a fan, her hairdo with flowers and jewels. Chinese, early Republic period or somewhat earlier, carved in greenish speckled soapstone and fixed onto a rhombic hardstone stand. Height altogether "4 ¾ / 12 cm. Condition: piece of the ribbon near the right shoulder of the goddess is missing (cf. pics).

Beautifully carved soap stone figure of sage Fulushuo, he leans on an elaborately carved staff and hold the peach of longevity, on an intricately carved dark stone stand on which are carved a bat and a deer, also symbols of happiness and longevity, wonderful expression, stone of a lovely orange and green, Republic Period (circa 1910-1930). Chinese Pink Quartz Snuff Bottle with original Top, Ca. 1940, 2 1/4" high, 1 3/8" wide, 7/8" depth, with round smooth polished stone with round top, dark spoon is attached from the top. The condition is good, has some dark stains inside and around the top opening.

A ceramic pillow in the form of a cat, done in cream and brown colors, in old Cizhou Kiln style. This is a small cat that measures about 8 1/2" long x 5 1/4" high, and it dates to the turn of the 20th Century. The design on the top side of the box is smaller and more intricate while the bottom of the box has a similar floret but simpler.
