Rare and unusual stoneware censer with brown Cizhou glaze. China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Diameter 13,5 cm, H. 8 cm. Condition: excellent.

Rare “sizhi” (four straight sides), inkstone circa Ming Dynasty. Good condition with one small chip noted in last enlargement. Please pay attention to the detail of the carving in enlargements (especially the footrim), the lines are graceful, and understated. A simple, elegant and still completely usable piece. L: 11.6cm/4.5in, H: 2cm/.8in and W: 7.8cm/3.1in.

Seated Ming Quanyin with beautifully modeled face, holding medicine bowl in left hand. Great detail seen in the casting with traces of original gilt shown. Bottom is hollowed. Crown with Buddha at crest, flowing robe and jewelry. Original hand and worn patina consistent with age.

Strand of Yuan to Ming Dynasty white “milk” glass trade beads excavated from the Tak Hilltop burial site along the Thai Burmese border. These can be dated to the14th to 16th CE because they were found the same strata as easily datable Chinese and Vietnamese ceramics. Please examine enlargements for condition. Unusual example of a Ming glass flower, emulating Nephrite jade, this would have sewn onto a piece of clothing or a hat as a kind of jewelry. This appears to have been cast from a mold, the edges are surrounding by tiny chips- most likely these were cast in groups and cut off from the single sheet. There was lot of dirt on this piece when I acquired it indicating this is an excavated piece, I have cleaned it up the best I could...

A large Chinese pottery censer on animal feet with a lovely blue and purple glaze. Tomb pottery, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). H. 24,5 cm. Excellent condition with expected age wear.

With a green and yellow glaze, decorated in relief with a fish between water plants. One side of the flask is left uncleaned to show how the flask was found. The soil can be easily removed. Condition: very good with expected age wear and age cracks in the glaze. 20 cm. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644)

Ming dynasty Interregnum blue and white large bowl with landscape and human motif, good condition with small glaze chip at outer rim, please see picture for detail, size: 14 cm diameter.

Very nice early Ming "deep" bowled plate with a thick light green crackled glaze. In very good condition without any chips. Good symmetry overall. Diameter: 10 inches, height is 2 and half inches.
