A large brooch of Chinese export silver made in filigree technique backing and embellished with enamelling and a very good carved red coral piece in the shape of a beautiful lady. Stamped: “Silver China” on the back side. Size: Diam 5 cm x 5 cm. Early 20th cent. around 1910/20. Condition: good with only some wear to enamel.

Tang terra cotta image of a Fat Lady. Traces of original pigment with legible facial features (note noted in enlargements). This is the smallest one I have ever seen- miniatures are extremely rare. H: 6.2cm. The bottom is uneven (just appears to have been made that way) there are traces of glue where it was probably once attached to a stand, otherwise, good condition- no damage or repair.

An antique set of 4 Huanghuali lamp chairs. Marble frame inset on back splat. Ancient archaic motif with beautiful Huanghuali grain. With a carved square floating medallion hard seat and a refined carved Han archaic style apron. Four bracing stretchers support each of the chair legs.

A very fine and elegant Chinese octagonal lacquer and Pewter TEA CADDY, 19th Century, depicting various figures in a Palace Setting. Overall in good condition with minor inconsequential signs of use due to the considerable age. Size: L. 16 cm. (6 1/4").

Chinese porcelain jar. On a very beautiful underglaze lavender blue background are painted, in dark cobalt blue also underglaze and in white enamels, characters Shou (happiness) and Swastika (eternity) surrounded by fumaroles, around the base and the neck are represented respectively friezes of waves and stylized clouds. Below the mark of Emperor Qianlong in underglaze blue. This jar was a vase whose neck was certainly damaged...

Two antique steel-line engravings drawn by Thomas Allom (1804-1872) and engraved by Arthur Willmore (1814-1888) titled “Chinese Boatman Economizing Time & Labour, Poo-kou” and "The Fortress of Terror, Ting-hai" from “China in a Series of Views” published in London in 1843 and reprinted through 1859.
