Fine Ming Dynasty “sancai” pottery bed, in pristine condition, with subtle but discernable paraffin patina, consistent with an “of the period” piece. This has simple classic lines emblematic of Ming furniture. There are 4 holes in the floor of the bed originally intended to support a cloth canopy. Chinese Qing dynasty compressed bombe form tripod censer with flat rim covered overall in an olive-brown glaze (possibly a celadon variant) that drips over the mouth and down the body leaving the interior and base unglazed. Moulded bats extend around the circumference and two animal mask handles are at the sides. Bagua symbols are in relief on the top. 3 1/8” – 3 1/2" high x 6” diameter of the top rim.
