GBP £135 Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Qingbai Glazed Porcelain Covered Jar
This attractive small covered jar was made during the 13th / 14th Century (Song / Yuan Dynasty). It is coated inside and out in a finely-crackled pale green Qingbai glaze. The cover has a carved pattern to give it the appearance of a tiled roof; this jar represents a granary. There are incised decorative bands that surround the body. The edge of the foot is rather poorly trimmed. Height 8.5 cm... Rare Tall Chinese Six Dynasties Painted Pottery Warrior (AD 220 - 589)
This very rare and interesting pottery figure of a warrior was made during the Six Dynasties period (AD 220 - 589). It is solid (as opposed to being hollow as are most ancient Chinese pottery figures) and made from a dense pottery that has been painted in red, pink, black and white pigments, very good traces of which still remain. GBP £600 Very Rare Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Inscribed Buddhist Sanskrit Pottery Jar
This very rare and fascinating pottery jar was made around the 13th - 14th century during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279) or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province, at the time a particularly isolated part of China... Statue of Kuan Yin, the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy, wearing a diadem, a necklace and formal robes, sitting cross-legged, holding a bowl on her lap with both hands. Votive box at the back, lid missing. Wood, with traces of polychromy. China, Qing dynasty, early 20th century. Height: 29.5 cm. Soe light abrasion, otherwise very good condition.
Tall Chinese Tang Dynasty Painted Pottery Horse & Lady Rider (41cm)
This impressive pottery model of a horse & female rider was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is "heavily-potted" and made from a buff-coloured pottery that has been "cold painted" in various different coloured pigments. The horse stands alert with its head turned a little to its left, the lady sits upright with one hand resting on her tummy. Note the detail of the horse's mane on its left side... It is comprised of 2 perfectly fitting pieces, as shown in the photo. The other one depicts 2 finely carved Salamanders. One is large, climbing up on one side of the vessel, the other smaller one is on the front of one side.

Small porcelain Vietnamese shipwreck recovery water dropper in the shape of an elephant. The glaze has dissolved after so long under the water but the body is intact. This is most likely from the Cau Ma shipwreck, circa 1775, discovered off the coast of Vietnam. No chips or damage. L: 6.2cm/3.2in and H: 5cm/2in.
